Mystery Shopping at Fancy Restaurants
Sometimes, mystery shopping is not all about doing little jobs for a
few dollars. Sure, that can be a lot of fun, but if you really take
into consideration all of the available jobs that come up you will find
some gems that are hard to pass up. I know that when I first started
mystery shopping I thought that I would be doing jobs at all kinds of
interesting places. What ended up happening is that I was only taking
care of small jobs for a few dollars each. I was almost ready to give
up when a few nice jobs became available.
After you are part of a mystery shopping network for some time you will
start to get the opportunity to do some better jobs. These can take on
many forms, but my favorite is when you get the chance to do some jobs
at nice restaurants. Although these do not come along as often as you
would probably like, if you take them when they are available you may
end up getting invited personally to take part in these types of shops.
My personal representatives from the mystery shopping networks call me
about two or three times a month to offer me restaurant jobs, and it is
a great way to be able to get out on the town without spending a dime.
Most of the restaurants that make mystery shopping a usual occurrence
at their establishments are trying to keep their employees on their
toes as well as making sure that the cleanliness of the building is
kept at acceptable levels. If the secret shop goes well, the restaurant
will often provide the employees with a bonus or perhaps a perk of
another sort. This works well for the business when the employees
realize that they are being secret shopped on a regular basis. It will
keep them on their toes and the business will flourish as a result.
Once you begin to get into the network of mystery shopping at fancy
restaurants, they will call you more often in order to take on new
jobs. This is because you will become proficient at looking for what is
necessary to make sure that the business is running in a smooth manner.
Each restaurant will have its own specific things that you will need to
check on, but all of them follow the same general guidelines.
Typically, you will need to check on how long it takes you to get
seated, the mood of the person that will be seating you, how well you
are treated by your waiter or waitress, the cleanliness of the
establishment, the quality of the food that you eat and the accuracy of
your bill.
Mystery shopping at fancy restaurants is a great way to be able to
enjoy an evening out. You can even combine it with other mystery
shopping for the evening, such as a movie shop, and enjoy an entire
date night without spending a dime.
